The LCD is forced to reset with an I/O pin. i just do that at the start of the initialization of the microcontroller. The rest of the time i just have it pulled up. The LCD controller memory still contains the data, it still receives new data and commands, it just doesn't display them.
I will browse through the controller's manuals once more and hope to find a solution there... |
