That's the wrong question!

The layout of the legends on the key caps is entirely irrelevant as far as connecting it to an 8051 (or anthing else) goes.

What matters is what type of interface the keyboard has.


If the keyboard has a suitable serial interface, then you connect it to the 8051's serial port; if it doesn't, you don't.

You need to find out precisely what interface your keyboard has.
If it's a standard PC keyboard, this has been discussed many time before - so just do the 'Search' for "PS2" or "PS/2"
