#10780 - How secure are "security" bits? |
We are about to release a high value 8051 based product incorporating some very sophisticated real-time signal processing algorythms. These took over 1-1/2 man-years to develop and we are concerned about code security.
I have heard that code in "flash" micros such as the 89C51, AT89C4051, etc. can be sucessfully recovered, even if the security bits have been set. Anyone have any information or experience in this matter? Regards, Bert |
