That's it... Replace "editor" by "C-preprocessor + macros" and you have the same as Maarten. I doubt any compiler manufacturer would believe their custom definition of SFR refrains anybody from moving to an another compiler, and conversely, I doubt any user would move to an another tool based on the fact he does not need to modify his SFR definitions alone.

But, definitively, it is a pity that the toolmakers are not present in this forum (at least not officially) (similarly as the manufacturers)...
