On my controller board I want to know if my stepper motor driver has problem i monitored the supply line which is 40 volts dc by using a drop resitor and a 5 volts zener to supply an opto coupler connected to a pin on the mcu when my motor driver has problem that pin is set and my controller go to standby but I use seperate 5 volt supply for the controller board though.Hope this might be of help.
