#11660 - Good Transceiver For serial BUS? |
Hi all ,
In my project I am using transceiver 74LS243 to grant the serial bus to 4 slaves .The master issues enable/disable signal for 74LS243 to communicate with the slave .My problem is that the IC's 74LS243 are getting heated up though I have combined 3 drivers each for the transmit line and receive line but still it is getting heated. 1) Is it ok for 74LS243 to get heated so much if not can I use 74S241 octal buffer or some other chip. 2) Please let me know some other chip which could be usefull for enabling/disabling the serial bus. |
