#116852 - P89LPC9408 Programming Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi,
The P89LPC9408 is made of 2 dies, one P89LPC938 (LPC900 series micro) and a PCF8576 (I2c controller). The P89LPC9408 (P89LPC938.... LPC932, LPC935) can be programed by ISP (basically family LPC900 parts 20pins and above). The Keil MCB900 development kit has a popular circuit for getting the LPC900's into ISP programming mode (3 pulses on reset after power up)... and runing flashmagic. MCB900 Help and circuit here http://www.keil.com/mcb900/mcb900.zip Also use a scope on the power up rise time and reset rise time to see if they are in spec.... In some cases the Vdd filter caps and parts inhibit the rise times of Vdd and RESET. The MCB900 uses some PC serial tricks to get the 3 pulses on reset timing... this is driven by the flashmagic software (when selected in the options). JG (from OZ) |
