There is a diagram "Typical Output Low (sink) Current Characteristics." on page 7. If Vdd is 5V, output current is at most about 4mA.
However, there are more suitable LED drivers, for example:
M5450 http://www.datasheet4u.com/html/M/5/4/M5450_STMicroelectronics.pdf.html
SAA1064 http://www.datasheet4u.com/html/S/A/A/SAA1064_PhilipsSemiconductors.pdf.html
Despite of specific drivers, I use low-cost shift registers. Another reason is, that they can be placed among the display's pins, if use SMD package.
