#119473 - User Guide "inconsistencies" in DS89C4x0 |
I've been working my way through the Maxim DS89C4x0 User Guide's opcode table, found on pages 125..130. Needless to say, it's not perfect, as few documents of this size are, and I wanted to call attention to a few inconsistencies in that table, and perhaps, enlist the aid of others on this forum in flushing out others, as they're found.
What I've found, just to mention a few, is an incomplete description of the XCH opcodes, and some inconsistencies between the HEX and binary values of the opcodes 72, 60, 70, 30, and B5, though there may turn out to be others. I just glanced at and located these. I've shared this information with Kevin Self, who's been a contact at Maxim/Dallas and who seems to be the "final word" on details of this series, but rather expect he's on holiday, as this is a "long" weeked for some. Hopefully I'll get some feedback, perhaps indicating when a corrected update will be available. RE |
