For all this power meter stuff you should check the web site of Analog Devices. They have special energy meter chips and they also explain the principals behind them.
Another source is Texas Instruments. They have a nice microcontroller (MSP430-series). In the application manual for this micro there are a lot of explanations and calculations for energy metering applications. Good luck. |
