Kai's Explanation is exactly what I wanted.
==> Moderator... it is possible to clean this up and put it in the Tutorial section of the 80c52 web site rather than searching in a forum post..... FOR ALL TO SHARE! I am sure many a newbie - has the same question. Now it is easier to explain the port stucture... to fellow engineers - just send them the 8052 URL! Regards Joe. PS It's Russell Bull's fault I know about 80c51's... he put me on to them many years ago.... and I learnt the 80c51 port structure back then.... and re-enforced at University. These days... I spend time coverting customers to 80c51 cores. |
