Thanks for the tip about the SI Labs ICE. So far I'm not terribly impressed with it. It's pretty basic
I would simply LOVE if SILabs would 'reveal their secrets' to e.g. Ceibo or Metalink, so someone could make a fully working ICE and charge for it. I think it is just wonderful that amateurs have tool access within their budget from free or low cost stuff, but a two tier approach such as SDCC and Keil would be beneficial to all. We professionals would get a better tool and the improvements would slowly filter down to the freebies. Erik |
