#12367 - RE: Cygnal Vs. other product |
Hi Maziar,
if the code size was meaningful, then the Atmel T89C51RD2 (64kB Flash) should be good. Also larger projects can be divided into using some cheap micros. E.g. I use 6 AT89C2051 in a project, which former realized with a big Motorola CPU. This give me also big cost saving, since 5 modules must be controlled over optical insulation. Now I need only 2 expensive high voltage opto couplers for every module in opposition needing 5 per module using a single micro. So a former large project was replaced by 6 small modules with many cost saving. Aditional the reliabilty grows, since any CPU have only to do small tasks and can not influence the other modules.
