Don't take the examples too serious. I have just viewed a minute into the book and found in chapter 5.4.3, that example 11 seems to be incorrect. It should be written: if (PortA.1 == PUSHED) not if (PortA.1 = PUSHED) Just keep in mind, if something you read does not work, sometimes it's not your fault. Try to learn C from more than one book only to avoid those errors. Best regards J. Christoph |
