#125611 - a small shortcoming of a good book Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Russ, I like the book you found. Someone that include stuff like A good programmer includes comments throughout a program putting the quality judgement on the individual, not the product has my unconditional approval. But learning the C language by reading about applying it to a small micro, is, in my opinion, not the best method. learning the language on a PC gives you a fast way to work through all examples and gain some understanding of the language before actually applying it, rather than 'swearing' about the difficulty of changing operation of a micro circuit.
