Hi Alex! You are right - it counts the machine cycles. The clock frequency is divided by 12 (as Steve has wrote). If you want to count the clock, you have to change your hardware.
You must switch the timer 2 input to the pin T2EX and put clock frequency on it (T2EX - timer 2 external input). Take a look at the datasheet of microcontroller (timer 2 operating modes). |
