Thank everybody for your respond. But I dont need to use external input and Timer 2. My uC is already connected to the crystal, and all I want is to make timer count this crystal pulses, not my program infinite loop execution times.
I just need Timer 0 or 1 working in mode 2 as it must do. I've just done this with Cygnal C8051F005 for DSP application without any problem. What I'm doing wrong now with Atmel AT89S8252?
