#128680 - Power Unit Responding to: ???'s previous message |
It is a converter from CEE-32 (3x230/400 V) to 3x 230V power sockets like this( http://www.keraf.nl/ypsilon.htm)
On it wil be a display showing the V,I and f No regulating is preformed, it is only to have a visual on the power distribution. So my main problem has become, how to measure the volateg (and more) the current and freqency in a safe & easy way. I know for current measurement one can put a resistor in line and measure the voltage across live 230V~ | | | |_______ | | _|_ | | | | | | Voltage -> U/R | | |_| | | | |______| | | 0 Ouput (lamp or so) 0 | | Neurtal But I don't think it is safe for this current, even a 0.01Ohm resitor would develop P=I*I*R -> 32*32*0.01 = 10W of heat! So does anyone have an other way of measuring the current. For the Voltage I can use a voltage divider (2 R's) and an ADC the freq is also a guess for me, but I do have some plans: Create a puls on every zero cross of the sine wave and measure the time between te pulses. Can anyone help me out? Regards |
