1,000 in some locations read 1, in other locations 1000. The same goes for 1.000.
just like 11/28/06 in some places get read as a misprint (there is no 28th month) I have no 'patent solutions' for this, but suggest (and try myself) to always carify when such confusion is possible e.g. I (almost) always write dates in the form 28Nov06. Erik |
