Time to get a beeper (cointinuity tester - a DMM with ohmmeter will do but is usually slower). Place the probe tips always directly on the IC pins at the place where the pin (metal) enters the plastic body.

Check (according to your schematics):

  • 8051/P0.7/pin 32 - '573/D7/pin 9 - should be short
  • '573/Q7/pin 12 - SRAM/A7/pin 3 - should be short
  • '573/Q7/pin 9 - all other pins on '573 (including VCC/pin 20) - should be open
  • '573/Q7/pin 12 - all other pins on '573 (including VCC/pin 20) - should be open
