#129991 - at 89S52 chip acting unreliably
Responding to: ???'s previous message
thank you ......... didn't expect such prompt reply

1. i am using a crude RC ckt ...... as you said ....... what is the other ckt is it a RC connected to a Schmitt trigger .........

2. is it possible for the crystal to work above its rated speed .... if so how can that be tested ... i don't have ready access to a CRO ..... somewhere i read a speaker ckt can be hooked up to a CRYSTAL and based on the sound the ckt can be tested ( the passage was about using logic probe to test fast changing port pin ) but does anyone know how exactly to go about this .........

Thank you ....................
