1. i am using a crude RC ckt ...... as you said ....... what is the other ckt is it a RC connected to a Schmitt trigger ......... 2. is it possible for the crystal to work above its rated speed .... if so how can that be tested ... i don't have ready access to a CRO ..... somewhere i read a speaker ckt can be hooked up to a CRYSTAL and based on the sound the ckt can be tested ( the passage was about using logic probe to test fast changing port pin ) but does anyone know how exactly to go about this .........
