#130127 - Thank you Responding to: ???'s previous message |
i added an tl 7705 and the entire system is far more reliable than before ............... but i still have these doubts
1. Why was my lcd not getting initalised ...... was it because the sytem was getting reset many number of times and hence the initialisation routine was run many times over ....... incomplete each time .......................(i use a 4bit protocol) 2. If that were so then if i were to give a ....... say 1 second ...... do noting routine in the beginning ..... shouldn't that take care of the lcd initialisation ............. i guess the one line question would be what exactly does a supervisor ic do ...... and can you build a system without one ...... Thanks one more ....... its amazing to see a system perform exactly as you designed it ......... i would never have figured the supervisor ic myself ....... |
