#130000 - use a proper supervisor chip Responding to: ???'s previous message |
1. i am using a crude RC ckt ...... as you said ....... what is the other ckt is it a RC connected to a Schmitt trigger
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO use a proper supervisor chip your problems is a result of Mickey Mouse approaches, do not replace them with something Goofy 2. is it possible for the crystal to work above its rated speed No, not a crystal. However, quite often it will work at 1/3 the rate because someone did not look out and get at 3rd overtone crystal. If what you mean is "can the uC run above its rated speed" the answer is: "no it, most likely, can not do so reliably and no amount of testing with a budget of less than $1M can prove relaibilitry" Erik |
