Is it an IC Socket, how many pins.
While the 8052 UART is real it needs an IC to be RS232 compatible (+/-12 Volts) The common IC would be a "MAX232". The internal UART uses SBUF if the code is commented out so is the function. PL/M? How old is the code (or programmer)? PL/M is obsolete. I do not think Intel supports it anymore. |
