#133780 - code size limited SDCC? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
When I start adding C files to the project and compiling, after about the 3rd file (it depends on the file, but the compiled size is about 2.5K to 3K of code), I lose all sign of life. It doesn't matter which file it is, once I seem to hit that limit, it stops working. I don't do ANYTHING to the main loop. I just add the file and compile. Apparently, you have the code size limited demoversion of SDCC. Buy the full version. As this is open source software, the payment is to be made in the form of bug corrections. :-) JW PS. The current version is 2.6.4 or higher, but is unfortunately available only from the svn repository of sourceforge, due to discontinuation of automatic compilation support from sourceforge. Maarten or Frieder or somebody else will be so kind and shed more light for the stupider of us (who as me can't tell the difference between "svn repository" and a toaster), on how exacly to get the current version. |
