By u i meant any one of u who wanted to help me out.. Andy Neill By novice I didn mean I dunno anything bout the 8051. Of course v had an introductory course to the 8051 and that is why we(2 ppl) chose to do a project on the same. And here's more detail on our project.. A PATC system is one which accepts data serially from a host of sub-systems on board a satellite in a standard frame format and decodes the frame, picks out the temperature values and then, comparing the obtained values with the optimum values(stored in the memory), decides if the heaters of the particu;ar sub-system should be switched on or off.. Our system will be a test system for the PATC. Here our system generates temperature data for a particular sub-system, puts the data into the standard frame format and feeds it to the PATC. The same is done for all sub-systems. Simultaneously the data is received from the PATC, decoded form the standard frame format and we check if the PATC has functioned correctly(ie if v feed value > optimum heater must be switched off n if < switched on) |
