I do not think I asked YOU for an evaluation of my English.
You asked for free advice. The least that could be expected for the sake of politeness is not to burden the people that are likely to give you free advice with deciphering incomprehensible SMS gibberish. And before advising somebody else the person must check his own spellings first. There's a difference between an unintentional typo (the 't' key is directly next to the 'r' key, at least on my keyboard) and deliberately using gibberish that makes life easy for you and hard for the people you are asking for free advice. You save 500 ms by not hitting two keys. 20 people read your posting and need 100 ms each to mentally add those two letters and make sense of your abbreviations. That's 2000 ms you dump on your readers to make your life easier. If you only had one reader (as in a real SMS), things would look different. But for multiple receivers, burdening them with decoding tasks will make them less likely to even consider reading your text. With an attitude like that, I already pity your future coworkers. |
