#135852 - Digikey Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Ed,
Sorry. I completely misunderstood. I don't have a particular part number that I'm partial to. I use whichever one is in stock at Mouser or Digikey, costs the least, and meets my minimum requirements. They are typically in what's called a PDIP-4 package, which is a standard 0.300" 8-pin DIP (DIL) with only pins 1, 4, 5, and 8 (the four corners). Sometimes I use a SMT version instead. If there is a standard layout, it's: Pin 1 -> OE or ~OE or NC Pin 4 -> GND (Maybe case if metal) Pin 5 -> Output Pin 8 -> Vdd but be sure to check the data sheet for whichever one you choose. Joe |
