You'll also find dual and quad versions of the 16c450 - TL16C554
at www.ti.com. There's also a fair chance you'll find the dual ones on older PC motherboards. I have no doubt the 8251 is cheap, its also obsolete and braindead! Also, its bus speed means it will probably only work with old generation 12 clocker 8051s. |
