#13628 - RE: Electronics Corner: |
In all honesty, I don't really see how we can isolate certain sections of the hardware design from others, the 8052 is a tool used to build real systems that switch things on and off, measure, control and wait.
All we want to avoid is being asked dumb questions repeatedly. Like how do I drive an LED with a port pin or how do I connect a pushbutton, or why doesn't my crystal start. Can these not be reduced to a FAQ and maintained in the homepages section perhaps ? If someone asks a dumb (to us) question, would it be too hard to make sure a definitive answer gets stuck on the FAQ, after all we can add notes to the links pages and the processor pages. Can Craig automate postings to a FAQ ? Gil's question about doppler radar would have been a serious question for any of us gurus to sink our teeth into, and I for one wouldn't have zapped it !
