#136929 - Trouble with TSOP1738
Hello,

I am facing a problem while interfacing TSOP1738/TSOP1138 i.e, IR Rxer. with 80C51. The TSOP1738 output pin goes from 4V to 3.5V when I point the IR txer inline with Rxer. But It never goes to 0V.I Have connected the TSOP1738 Output pin to INT0 of 8051, But no interrupt is generated.

The interface recommanded in TSOP1738 Datasheet is followed properly, i.e, Provided a resistor of 100Ohms between +5V and PIN 2, a Capacitor of 4.7uF,25v between PIN 2 and PIN 1 , And Also a Pull up of 10K between Vcc and PIN 3 of TSOP1738.

I tried sending 10 pulses of burst of 38Khz signal for 560uSec and off for 560us . Then I tried sending continous 38Khz burst, nothing was really helping.
Did any of you guys face such a suituation?

Any info will be really helpful.

Thanks and regards,
Danaraja
