#136995 - invalid assumption Responding to: ???'s previous message |
am just a hobbiest, I work with Voltmeter, But I could say that the output is not reaching 0V becasue the INT0 is not generated
invalid assumption this ASS U ME that you will generate an interrupt with your chip and your code. The fact that you see a "lower voltage" with a voltmeter when receiving makes me think very strongly that it is, indeed, working. I accept your amateur status, but with a voltmeter I can not do better than "think very strongly". You need to Verify that the interrupt works HW and SW. Verify the /int0 pin is high, short it to ground (if your TSOP1738 sensor has a push pull output, you will need to remove it for this). If that generates an interrupt, then you can use the fact that "the INT0 is not generated" as a 'measurement'. What is a TSOP1738? "TSOP" say TI to me, but they do not know of it and neither does digikey. Is that some old part discontinued ages ago? Erik |
