agreed; however measuring a state (HI/LO) may introduce a 'nominal' load however measuring an 'open' will introduce a (grey) voltage. I do believe that with a significant input impedance, measurements of voltage levels can be dome with minimal interference, whereas introducing a voltage can not be considered "minimal interference". Thus "a 'probe' that makes the circuit work different when applied" is much more likely with a voltage introduction than with an (insigificant) load introduction. Erik |
