#139523 - security issues
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi

though code is only 120kB, after encryption it goes beyond 1MB.
when we spend lot of money to develop products, we should ensure that it is protected our company's interests also.

we use our own boot loader with decryption code in it.

due to security reasons we can not distribute copies of code to Engineers. sending an engineer is 1000 times costlier than the cost of the phone call.

programming via mobile would be a simple issue if it is a student's project, but for a commerical product it is not that easy.

also customisation of the software makes product cost higher if it has to be done by an engineer at the field.

hope you understand my problem.

thanks for your views.

my idea is to create several functions and update only particular function or piece of code only not the entire program.
