Your device may have on-chip Flash that can be used for data storage - you will have to check the Datasheet for details; As Syed stated, he has at89c5224pc0632 - a little bit of decoding - this is AT89C52, good up to 24MHz, timestamped 0632 (manufactured in 32th week of 2006). No, this chip cannot reprogram its own internal FLASH code memory. Syed, do you need to stick to this derivative? There are '51 derivatives around - pin compatible with the AT89C52, but more expensive and maybe harder to obtain in your area - which are able to reprogram its own FLASH - for example P89V51RD2 and/or AT89C51RD2/'AT89C51ED2 (plus the same with less flash, with suffix RB2 or RC2). They also come with more extras you might appreciate. JW |
