Battery backed RAM for storing security passwords seems silly to me. Disconnect the battery for a moment and the password is erased.
not for that reason. Dallas has Battery backed RAM with the bettery inside tha package. However Battery backed RAM for storing security passwords seems silly to me too because a $0.25 serial EEPROM will do the job. Erik |
