#140517 - MCP3202 ADC problem
Hello all experts there!
I am using ADC3202 to convert 50Hz Volt & Amp signals
to RMS values. I had used 3202 before but only for DC voltages.
I am using 4.096V as REF voltage to make it easy for calcultion.
Also have half the Ref. voltage by one opamp in 324 as virtual
GND.
I am selecting the CH0 and CH1 by giving command as
101 and 111 as configuration bits which are shifted out right.
This all works perfectly in my DC voltage checking. But when I am checking these AC voltages I get strange results.
If I use only Amp channel i.e. CH1 then output is correct.
But then if I use Volt channel then in next reading of Amps channel I get the Amps value + 1/8 th count of Volts reading.
I am at wits end to figure out why this is happening.
The input voltage is 1200mV for voltage and 600mV for Amps.

Please help before I go mad.
Thanks in advance,
psd
