Never one to avoid the chance to "tilt at windmills". We personalize one archictecture (Von Neuman) and intstitutionalize another (Harvard)?
None the less, Aiken is how it was taught until micro's (and an entire crop of folks who never worked with large machine architectures) came along. The Mark I and II where fundimental designs that demonstrated an architecture which is vindicated today in DSP, RISC, and MicroControllers. regards, p |
