I would like to know the importance of the "voltage detection block" in the Atmel Schematic shown in the below link. Will my micro be programmed if i neglect it?

What is the use of it? and what is the use of "INIT" and "Auto" signals coming from the parallel port? I hope its not used for programming 8051 derivatives. Is it so? Thanks! Suresh. |
