You MUST build the recommended circuit using the recommended components. Changing even one thing negates the likelihood that the circuit will work. If you change from a 1K0 to a 1K1, you're on your own!
and even a wire being longer - or between the LPT port and the chip instead of right at the port ( the Atmel thingy is built into the LPT plug )- may make it non-functional. Erik PS drop the common belief that a wire is a direct connection, It is NOT, it is inductors and capacitors. |
