Hi Patrick,
No you aren't mistaken. You should use 8052 for controlling various parameters along with the display. But the question remains, who will do that. You can use standard flat panel LCD of Hitachi, HD7780 and hook it up with your micro. (requires programing for the LCD) You can use different temperature sensors with A/D converters and again this requires programing. I think a moderate temp. sensors can be one LM35 if I remember correctly. Try <http://www.questlink.com> for the data sheet. Its an interesting project. Simon |
