#144978 - Doubt in 8052
Hai friends,

I am new to 8052uC. For the past few days I am struggling with at89c52 to bring the results in ports. I just wanted to interface LCD with this. But i was unable to. I have tried to toggle each and every port, but at the port it only gives a millivolt output. I am using port 0.

I am following the conventional circuit which was given in the book. That is connecting 9th pin to -ve terminal of capacitor and +ve to +vcc, then a swith to reset. 31st pin to +vcc, 20th pin to GND, 40th pin to +vcc.

Now my condition is -

1. LCD's (16x2)gives first row glowing with full of squares, which I cam to know that it is okay!!

2. Tried to change the program, but I have tried the same program in another board with 8052, the LCD gives proper output.

3. Now my problem is in the hardware unit. Can anyone suggest where I am doing the mistake??

Looking for your assistance, Thank you.
