use the internal reference for the A/D and measure both the voltage on top of your bridge or whatever and the 'metered result'. then calculate the percentage of the 'top voltage' the 'metered result' is. That way you can, wile maintaining ultimate precision, use a reference of any precision (cheap) just as long as it gives the same result twice in a millisecond.
