Do you receive an X,Y coor from each transmitter relative to you or relative to what?

Which x,y coordinate out of all the received is closest to me . x,y is in coordinate form , as per example (with arbitary values)

say my location is =(N11 11' 00" latitude, W111 11' 00" longitude) .


And I receive following from telemetry:-

1: (N55 55' 00" latitude, E05 55' 00" longitude)

3:..........
