... it would make little sense to lock IAP by the same lockbit which prevents reading via the "conventional" programming method, whether JTAG or parallel or SPI or any other. IAP (and, for that matter, UART-ISP, which is only a factory-programmed version of the same) could of course implement its method of read protection easily.
Again, the "resilience" of the factory lockbits remains to be investigated... (and is unfortunately discouraged to be discussed here by now). JW |
