#152200 - Operation question in C Responding to: ???'s previous message |
ok, the above block does what I want. Now here are two seperate yet should be the same operational code segments.
Below does NOT work as "add all/divide by 16" SR = ((S1 + S2 + S3 + S4 + S5 + S6 + S7 + S8 + S9 + S10 + S11 + S12 + S13 + S14 + S15 + S16)/16); Below DOES work as "add all" then "divide by 16" SR = (S1 + S2 + S3 + S4 + S5 + S6 + S7 + S8 + S9 + S10 + S11 + S12 + S13 + S14 + S15 + S16); SR = (SR / 16); Structurely and by order of precidence they should yield the same result but in Keil they do not. Not even close. Why? |
