There are at least 2 89C51RD2's around - P89C51RD2 by Philips/NXP and AT89C51RD2 by Atmel. You should be more precise when stating a question.
OK, I guess it's the former, otherwise you wouldn't mention FlashMagic. The bootloader cannot be corrupted in this chip as it is in ROM. This might be the unfamous "bootvector loos" problem - try searching for this here and/or at the FlashMagic website. JW |
