#154418 - LCD Problem
Hi All,

I am using a 20x2 LCD with AT89S8253 Microcontroller in one of my project. The problem is that the system which I am developing is to be used in Railways and is prone to AC noises.

Due to this the LCD is sometimes get blanked or some erroneous data is displayed on the LCD.

I have reinitilized the LCD after every one minute to tackle this problem. The solution is working except at one stage. Sometimes the location of first row or second row or both were shifted either to left or to right and so the data in the column of that row is hidden.

Any solution would be appreciated.
