If you put too much capacitance on Vcc, you risk lengthening the rise and fall time of Vcc. This can be hazardous, since the MCU behavior is not well-characterized during Vcc decay. It may, in fact, run away and do unpleasant things, e.g. corrupt its program store. No supervisor adequately guards against this situation.
