#156159 - 'guess' is not a design criteria
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I've got several uC boards running code form an external ram with its /OE pin controlled by ANDing /PSEN and /RD.
that would nvere work, what works is negative ORing the two

I can find no specific information about the two pins /PSEN and /RD, especial not on the P89C591,
/RD is a port pin, and as such fully documented.

HOWEVER, /PSEN would, were I the chip designer, be a push-pull output (a lot easier to make than a quasi-bidirectional pin).
